Salon des Bananes
Identity
Salon des Bananes is an unconventional studio and avant-garde art gallery. Founded by mixed-media artist Rich Loen, the space is part interactive playground, part working fabrication shop, showcasing interactive installations and sonic experiments. The name is a cheeky nod to Le Salon des Refusés — the legendary 1863 Paris exhibition where Emperor Napoleon III allowed ‘rejected’ artists to show off the weird, wonderful art the traditional elite couldn't handle.
